ESG & Sustainability Commitment
Sustainability is not a pledge at CFlo: it is the product, the process and the purpose.
CFlo's ESG commitment is built into its business: the company achieved Net Zero status in 2025, is a GCCA Net Zero Value Chain partner and a UN Global Compact member. Its technology has created over 50 million tonnes of manufactured sand capacity and 1,425,000 tonnes of waste recycling capacity across nine Indian cities.
ESG: our bedrock
We are aware of our impact on the environment and society. We commit to producing high-quality products while working in a safe, ethical and sustainable manner. Our initiatives align with global and national frameworks, including the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
CFlo achieved Net Zero status in 2025, not as an offset exercise, but as the outcome of solar adoption across operations and product design, and a business model that replaces extraction with recycling.
Global partnerships and commitments
- GCCA Net Zero Value Chain partner: joined the Global Cement and Concrete Association's Net Zero Value Chain Partnership in 2026, aligning our technology with the decarbonisation of cement and concrete.
- UN Global Compact member: the Ten Principles on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption are embedded in our strategies and operations.
- Decarbonisation Charter signatory: a call to action to put the entire building and construction value chain on a net-zero pathway, covering production, transport and disposal of building materials.
- CFlo Code of Conduct: practical guidance for our workforce, suppliers and business partners on how we expect business to be conducted worldwide.
Impact at scale
Over the last two decades our technology has created more than 50 million tonnes of manufactured sand capacity, enough to replace river sand equivalent to 5% of India's total sand requirement. We have also created 1,425,000 tonnes of waste recycling capacity across nine Indian cities.
Our SDG-aligned goals: - Substitute 100 million tonnes of river sand annually for construction by 2030 - Drive adoption of clean technologies through the patented Combo platform - Reduce the environmental impact of cities, including air quality, through C&D waste management - Empower 1,600 youth with technical and vocational skill training - Plant 25,000 trees by 2030 to increase urban green cover - Embrace solar power across our operations and product designs
Transparent reporting
We publish an annual ESG report developed in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, most recently covering FY 2025. In the S&P DJSI assessment for FY 21-22, we attained an ESG score in the 94th percentile, above the industry average.
Independent recognition backs this up: TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) featured our Reurban Compact C&D Waste Recycling Plant in Surat, commissioned by Surat Green Precast, as a case study in its 'Circular Built Environment, Highlights from Asia' report. We were also certified as a Great Place to Work in 2025.
