Zeal Alliance achieves consistent Zone II M-Sand with the Combo X70

Zeal Alliance, a well-recognised name in Madhya Pradesh's aggregates and minerals sector, replaced a conventional screw washer with CFlo's Combo X70 integrated wet processing plant. The plant now consistently produces Zone II sand for infrastructure and Ready-Mix Concrete (RMC) customers, with substantially reduced water consumption and improved fines recovery.

The Challenge

Prior to the Combo X70, Zeal Alliance ran a conventional screw washer for M-Sand production. Silt levels were difficult to control, leading to variability in product quality. A significant quantity of usable material was lost as waste, hurting recovery and yield. Water consumption was high, and despite sufficient feed availability the plant struggled to consistently hit targeted production levels.

By 2023-24, Zeal needed more than a replacement: a compact, dependable M-Sand washing solution delivering consistent quality with lower water usage, backed by strong technical support for demanding infrastructure and RMC supply.

The Solution

A visit to CFlo's manufacturing facility was the key moment in the evaluation. The Zeal team reviewed the Combo X70's integrated process design, operational simplicity and approach to washing, classification and fines recovery, with multiple wet processing stages combined into a single, compact system. A near-decade relationship with CFlo strengthened confidence in the solution.

CFlo proposed the Combo X70 as a complete replacement for the screw washer. The integrated system enabled tighter control over silt and ultrafines, improved recovery of usable material and significantly reduced water consumption, with a compact footprint that simplified operations.

The Results

Following commissioning, M-Sand quality became more consistent with improved silt control, and production became more stable and predictable. The sand is supplied to road construction projects, RMC plants and third-party customers requiring specification-compliant material.
