Vishnusurya Projects and Infra Pvt Ltd, a publicly listed leader in Tamil Nadu's construction materials sector, scaled from a Combo X70 at Madurai to a fully automated Combo X150 processing 150-180 TPH of IS-compliant sand. The plants have delivered a 25-30% boost in output, roughly 20% lower operating costs and more than 26,000 hours of operation with minimal downtime.
Vishnusurya identified significant challenges in its supply chain: converting minus 5mm crushed stone dust from its quarry into high-quality plaster and concrete sand was labour-intensive and environmentally taxing. Conventional methods could not meet growing demand for BIS-compliant products, and the company sought high efficiency, minimal environmental impact and low operational costs.
Having successfully deployed CFlo's Combo X70 at its Madurai site, Vishnusurya confidently scaled up with the Combo X150. The larger, fully automated installation processes 150-180 TPH of sand, ensuring reliable supply of Zone IV plaster sand and Zone II concrete sand. Automation and energy efficiency cut operational costs by approximately 20%, the plant recycles up to 95% of water, saving millions of litres annually, and sand recovery from the feedstock has reduced material wastage by 30%, turning potential losses into additional revenue streams. Vishnusurya now owns CFlo Combo manufactured sand plants across three sites in Tamil Nadu.
